Case dimensions are the measured physical attributes of a watch case. The core fields in this Wiki are case length, case width or diameter, case thickness, lug-to-lug, and lug width.
A diameter is appropriate for a round case. Length and width are more informative for rectangular, tonneau, cushion, and other non-round shapes. The case-type note tells you how to interpret the published values.
